Fleet of buses heads towards Holy Najaf to transport pilgrims on Prophet Muhammad’s Martyrdom

The Iraqi Hajj and Umrah Authority has revealed that a fleet of buses was sent to Holy Najaf to transport the honorable pilgrims who are now commemorating the painful martyrdom anniversary of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his pure family.

The authority said in a statement received by Shia Waves Agency that “Based on the instructions of the Iraqi PM, Eng. Mohammad Shiaa al-Sudani, and the Authority’s director, more than 200 buses have been sent to Holy Najaf to transport pilgrims.”

It added that “The buses transport the honorable pilgrims free of charge and will be operating around the clock, starting from today, Tuesday, until the last pilgrim leaves the holy city.”

It should be mentioned that millions of pilgrims are heading towards the holy shrine of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, to extend their heartfelt condolences on the martyrdom anniversary of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family, which is on the 28th of the current holy month of Safar.
