Border conflict between Azerbaijan, Armenia leaves 2 dead, 1 wounded
Two Armenian servicemen were killed by shelling on the tense border with Azerbaijan on Friday morning, the country’s ministry of defence said.
“There are two killed in action and one wounded on the Armenian side as a result of Azerbaijani armed forces’ fire at the Armenian combat outposts” near the village of Sotk, officials said in a statement.
Since the ceasefire agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia was signed in Moscow two years ago, border clashes between the two sides have been going on from time to time.
