US: Followers of different religions intend to organize 12th Religions for Peace annual conference
A group of Muslims, Christians and Jews announced their intention to organize the 12th Religions for Peace annual conference at St. Viator High School in Arlington Heights/ United States on September 10.
Pastor Corey Proust, co-founder of Sons of Abraham, said that more than 100 men, women and children are expected to participate to talk about promoting peace.
Proust added that, “I revere Islam and we founded the congregation in 2010, for interfaith dialogue and the development of service and leadership.”
The “Sons of Abraham” Alliance hosts many other interfaith awareness events throughout the year and holds workshops at the parliament of the world’s religions.
It brings together about 40 schoolchildren led by about 20 high school or college-age students to make friends and learn about each other’s traditions.
