Eid Al – Ghadeer

Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf government has announced its security and service plans for Eid-ul-Ghadir, pointing out that all roads will remain open to enable the honorable pilgrims to perform the Ziarah.

The spokesman for the local government in Holy Najaf, Ahmed Al-Fatlawi, said today Thursday in a statement received by Shia Waves that, “Eid-ul-Ghadir is a special occasion for all Muslims. On this occasion, Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf hosts millions of pilgrims who come to perform pilgrimage to Imam Ali, peace be upon him.”

Al-Fatlawi added, “The local government has laid security and service plans to ensure that the honorable pilgrims perform the Ziarah safely.”

The head of the Husseini Processions Committee, Zaki Jriaw, said that, “Husseini processions have already began offering their services to the coming pilgrims near the holy shrine of the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him.”
