Sayyed al-Shuhada International Committee distributed sacrificial meat in African countries to commemorate Ghadir
Sayyed al-Shuhada International Committee, affiliated to the Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Kuwait, carried out a large project of slaughtering and distributing special sacrifices in commemoration of Eid al-Ghadir in various African countries.
In this project, two thousand sheep were slaughtered in several African countries on the occasion of the auspicious festivals of Gurban to Ghadir, and the sacrificial meat was given to the needy and orphans.
This projects benefited Shia communities in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Burundi, Rwanda and several other countries in East Africa.
Last year, this committee sacrificed more than 1,500 livestock in several Asian and African countries, including Kuwait, Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Philippines, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Burundi, Rwanda and Nigeria.
