Shirazi-affiliated charities launch Annul Sacrifice Project in Holy Karbala, other countries

As part of its Annul Sacrifice Project, the Karbala-based Misbah al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development, in cooperation with Imam Hussein Media Group and Imam Hussein International Charity (IHC), slaughtered sheep for the safety of Imam Al-Mehdi, may Allah Almighty hasten his honorable reappearance.

The Foundation said in a statement received by Shia Waves Agency that, “30 animals were slaughtered in Holy Karbala and hundreds others in various Iraqi provinces. Offices of the Foundation in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Syria also carried out similar campaigns.”

It pointed out that this project is launched based on the directives and recommendations of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, to help the needy families.
