Imam Hussein Holy Shrine preparing to welcome pilgrims of Arafa in the holy city of Karbala

Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) announced that preparation work has begun to provide suitable services and host as many pilgrims as possible for the Day of Arafa in the holy city of Karbala.

Abdul Hassan Mohammad, Director of the development department of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, said: Sufficient planning has been done so that all the necessary infrastructures are prepared to welcome more pilgrims during the period marking the Day of Arafa.

He further pointed out that very large and suitable spaces have been prepared to serve, accommodate and provide rest for millions of pilgrims, adding that platforms have been built in different areas of the holy city of Karbala, each being 1,825 square meters.
