The Department of Women’s Activities at the Quran Education Center affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) has launched its summer Quran courses for girls in the holy city of Karbala.

The courses began on August 10 and include lessons in Quranic studies, Islamic sciences, jurisprudence, theology, and thematic interpretation of the Holy Quran.

Nazir Al-Dulfi, head of the Quran Media Center at the Imam Hussein Shrine, said the program is being conducted with the participation of 100 female Quran instructors from Dar al-Quran, the shrine’s Quranic institution.

He added that 50 supervisors have been assigned to monitor students at various locations within the shrine, while 50 buses have been allocated to facilitate transportation for participants.

Al-Dulfi stated that the courses have attracted 2,500 female students from different age groups, including residents of Karbala as well as Arab and foreign communities living in the region.

The program aims to promote Quranic education and expand access to religious learning through structured courses for young students and women.
