Polish Muslims Present Six Centuries of Islamic Heritage at Warsaw International Book Fair
—————————————-
The Muslim Religious Union in Poland has participated in the 2026 Warsaw International Book Fair with a cultural booth introducing visitors to the history, culture, and Islamic heritage of Muslims in Poland.
The participation provided an opportunity for European visitors to learn about the centuries-old presence of Muslims in Poland and their role in the country’s cultural and social life.
According to Muslims Around the World, the booth displayed a collection of books, research materials, cultural works, and publications related to the history of Polish Muslims and the heritage of the Polish Tatars.
The fair, held at the PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw, is considered one of Europe’s major cultural and literary events, bringing together publishers, writers, and cultural institutions from different countries.
The report said the participation of the Muslim Religious Union in Poland was not limited to displaying books. It also aimed to introduce Islamic identity, strengthen cultural dialogue, and present an accurate image of the Muslim community in Poland.
Muslims in Poland, especially the Tatars, have been part of the country’s history and cultural identity for more than 600 years.
