On the eve of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Muhammad al-Jawad (peace be upon him), a spiritual ceremony was held to cleanse the sacred domes of the Kadhimayn shrine, the resting place of the two noble Imams, Imam Musa al-Kadhim and Imam Muhammad al-Jawad (peace be upon them).

The event, which took place in a solemn atmosphere filled with mourning, was attended by pilgrims and caretakers of the shrine. During the ceremony, dust and impurities were removed from the domes of this holy sanctuary.

According to Shia Waves Agency, this time-honored tradition symbolizes the deep devotion of the followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) to the ninth Imam, Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon him), and prepares the shrine for the days of mourning commemorating his martyrdom.
