Humanitarian Aid Arrives in Iran from Iraq and Pakistan Amid Crisis
————————————-
Iran has received significant humanitarian aid shipments from neighboring countries to support relief efforts in areas affected by ongoing crises.
The second large shipment from Iraq included 27 trucks of medical and emergency supplies, delivered to Iranian Red Crescent teams. According to the organization, the cargo contains hospital beds, operating room equipment, medicines, ambulances, and relief items such as blankets and debris‑removal tools, aimed at enhancing emergency response and medical services in impacted regions.
In a parallel effort, Pakistan sent a humanitarian shipment of five trucks, carrying essential medicines and supplies to support citizens affected by the conflict. The aid crossed the border at Taftan in Balochistan and the Mirjaveh region and has been handed over to relevant Iranian authorities for rapid distribution to those in need.
Officials from both countries emphasized that these contributions are part of ongoing regional cooperation to alleviate suffering and ensure timely medical and emergency assistance to vulnerable populations. Relief teams in Iran have noted that such international support plays a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and reach of humanitarian operations.
