The city of Cotonou, the economic capital of Benin, is set to host the Islamic Ramadan exhibition “FIRAM 2026” from February 14 to 21, 2026. The event will take place at the Midombo Sports Stadium in the Akpakpa district and is expected to attract wide participation from exhibitors and visitors.
Organizers said the exhibition is part of an annual initiative that combines religious preparation for the holy month of Ramadan with efforts to boost economic activity and strengthen social solidarity within the Muslim community. FIRAM 2026 is regarded as one of the most prominent Ramadan-related events in Benin, bringing together religious, economic, and social dimensions in a single platform.
The exhibition will provide an opportunity for exhibitors and entrepreneurs to showcase products and services, particularly halal goods and items linked to Ramadan. Thousands of visitors are expected, offering participants a chance to expand their commercial presence and engage directly with the public.
The program includes commercial exhibitions, religious lectures and seminars, training workshops, cultural activities, congregational prayers, and the organization of communal iftar meals, alongside the provision of social services and consultations.
Organizers have issued an open invitation to institutions and business owners to take part as exhibitors, partners, or sponsors, emphasizing the event’s role in supporting the local economy, promoting social responsibility, and reinforcing values of solidarity during Ramadan.
