The first-ever Muslim football league, named “Rabitat al-Umma” (League of the Nation), has been launched in Moscow, creating a unified framework for teams affiliated with Islamic centers.

The league is composed of 14 amateur teams and is explicitly open to representatives of other faiths. According to Al Jazeera, as reported by Shia Waves Agency, the initiative is intended to serve as a platform for cultural and sporting interaction.

Participants in the league must adhere to specific regulations, including wearing appropriate attire and refraining from using offensive language. While professional players are not permitted to participate in the games, they are welcome to join the league as coaches or consultants.
