Afghan Shia Community Holds Mourning Ceremonies in Chindawol at the End of Safar

Coinciding with the martyrdom anniversaries of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his pure family) and Imam al-Reza (peace be upon him), a solemn Qur’an recitation and mourning ceremony was held at Shah Najaf Mosque in Balakoh, Chindawol.

According to Shia Waves Agency, the event saw the wide participation of scholars and worshippers, who gathered to honor the Prophet and the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) through the recitation of the Holy Qur’an and elegiac poetry.

The gathering was marked by a deeply spiritual and sorrowful atmosphere, as participants expressed their devotion and reaffirmed their attachment to the legacy of the Prophet’s household.
