Bangladesh’s Largest Annual Book Fair Begins in Dhaka

Bangladesh’s largest annual book fair commenced in Dhaka on Saturday, Xinhua reported. The event was inaugurated by Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Adviser of the interim government. This month-long fair gathers numerous readers and writers to celebrate literature.

This year, nearly 1,000 stalls have been set up, featuring over 700 publishing houses. Many new titles are launched each year during this grand event. As in previous years, the fair will also host cultural programs and seminars throughout the month.
