Large crowds of pilgrims journey to Holy Kadhimiya to commemorate Imam Al-Kadhim’s martyrdom

Baghdad is witnessing a massive influx of Shia mourners as thousands of Iraqi pilgrims walk towards the holy city of Kadhimiya to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Musa Al-Kadhim, peace be upon him. The commemoration, observed on the 25th of Rajab, attracts millions of pilgrims from Iraq and abroad.

Shia Waves correspondent reports that mourning processions and service tents have been set up along the routes to provide food and water to the pilgrims. These efforts are part of the significant preparations made for the annual event.

To ensure safety during the pilgrimage, security forces have implemented comprehensive plans, including measures to maintain order and provide emergency assistance.
