Mourning tent of Faziliyyah set up at Holy Shrine of Abalfazl al-Abbas ahead of Muharram

The holy city of Karbala is preparing for the mourning of Imam al-Hussain (peace be upon him) ahead of the month of Muharram, and in the first step, a mourning tent was set up in the Shrine of the Honourable al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

In honour of the mourning for the Honourable Sayyid al-Shuhada, the holy city of Karbala, which was lit up in recent days in commemoration of Eid al-Ghadir, is now preparing for Muharram with the efforts of servants and people.

The Shrine of the Honourable Abalfazl al-Abbas, peace be upon him, is now adorned with a Muharram-mourning tent known as the Faziliyya Tent, and his shrine is being prepared for the presence of pilgrims and mourners.

The installation of the Faziliyyah Tent, which is one of the magnificent manifestations of the beginning of the days of mourning in the holy city of Karbala, has a history of more than 250 years, and every year it heralds the beginning of the months of devotion and mourning, and the service of Sayyed al-Shuhada, peace be upon him.
