Residence of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi commemorates martyrdom anniversary of Sayyida Zainab
The Residence of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi hosted followers of Ahlul-Bayt on the 15th of Rajab to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Aqilah Bani Hashem, the daughter of the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, the lady of patience and sacrifice, Sayyida Zainab al-Kubra, peace be upon her.
The devotees of her Holiness mourned the tragedies that befell her through eulogies and lamentations in the Majlis held at the Residence of the supreme religious authority in the holy city of Qom on Saturday, 27 of January.
The honorable Marja, along with a group of scholars and distinguished instructors of seminaries attended the Azadari Majlis to join the many devotees of the family of Purity, peace be upon them.
The speaker at this gathering mentioned the sufferings of Sayyida Zainab, peace be upon her, to uphold the mourning ritual. The attendance prayed for Allah Almighty to hasten the deliverance of Imam Saheb al-Asr Waz-Zaman and the salvation of the Shiites of the world.
