Australian priest, Gould David, announced his conversion to Islam

The Australian priest “Gould David” announced his conversion to Islam after reading the Holy Quran and learning about the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his pure family.

Following his announcement of conversion to Islam, David said that he had worked in the church for more than 45 years until he ultimately converted after reading the Quran and learning about Islam and the Muhammadian teachings.

He continued that when he passed by a mosque in Perth, Australia, he felt a call drawing him towards the mosque. He entered the mosque, prostrated himself, prayed, and read the Quran. At that moment, he realized that the Quran was from God Almighty.

Regarding the reasons for his conversion, David said that he could not ignore the Quran, just as he could not ignore the fact that God is One, without a partner, and has no son. He also said that he must pray as the Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) established prayer.

He affirmed that Islam brings peace and tranquility. It does not mean abandoning belief in the prophethood of Jesus, peace be upon him, but rather that you will know him in the correct relationship between you and your Lord.

According to the Pew Research Center, Islam is the fastest-growing religion in the world, and the number of Muslims will grow more than twice the total population of the world between the years 2015 and 2060.
