Istanbul hosts the meeting of the Council of Muslims of Europe

The Muslim Council of Europe held its periodic meeting of its leading bodies, represented by its Executive Office, member institutions, and the Shura.

The meeting was held in the Turkish capital from November 10-13 in order to present, discuss and approve the implementation plan for the next phase.

In a speech during the meeting, which was followed by the Shia Waves News Agency, Dr. Abdullah ibn Mansour, President of the Council of European Muslims, stressed the importance of uniting all member institutions in implementing the plan, and touched upon the most important challenges facing Muslims in Europe.

Ibn Mansour also stressed the importance of “activating the role of monitoring and periodic evaluation in order to advance the reality of Muslims throughout the European continent.”

The President of the Council touched on the features of the executive plan and the priorities of the next stage, the most important of which is building bridges of communication and cooperation between all Islamic institutions in Europe.
