Counter-Terror Raid in Southern Turkey: 13 Suspects Detained for Alleged ISIS Links

Turkish Gendarmerie forces have detained 13 individuals in the southern province of Gaziantep on suspicion of collaborating with and providing financial support to the radical Sunni terrorist group, ISIS, Shia Waves Agency reported.
The arrests were made during simultaneous counter-terrorism operations conducted at several locations across the province.
Turkish security officials, as reported by the state-run Anadolu Agency, stated that investigations are ongoing to determine the detainees’ potential connections with the international network of the radical Sunni group. Furthermore, authorities have indicated that additional preventive measures are being implemented.
