Scottish Library to hold exhibition to promote Anti-Islam awareness
Dalkeith Library in Midlothian, Scotland, is set to host an exhibition aimed at raising awareness about Anti-Islam.
November is Anti-Islam Awareness Month. This highlights discrimination against people of the Islamic faith and showcases the positive contributions of Muslims to society.
Organized by MEND (Muslim Engagement and Development), the event illustrates examples of Anti-Islam and challenges some of the misinformation about Muslims.
MEND is an organization that works to tackle Anti-Islam and to encourage political, civic and social engagement by British Muslim communities.
Anti-Islam Awareness Month is a nationwide campaign supported by the Police, local councils, journalists, the media, councilors, MPs, mosques, universities, schools and community organizations.
The exhibition can be visited at Dalkeith Library during 23 – 26 November before it moves to be displayed at the Scottish Parliament.
