Shia communities in the Australian city of Adelaide organize massive Arbaeen procession
The Who is Hussain team in Adelaide, Australia, organized a massive mourning procession in which hundreds of Shia communities participated, to commemorate the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and to remember his great sacrifices.
The organization stated in a statement received by Shia Waves News Agency, that “the procession was held on the morning of the twentieth of Safar, to commemorate the Arbaeen.”
It added that “the mourners walked from the center of Adelaide for a distance of two kilometers, and ended their mourning at the Great Bennington Park, in an atmosphere of grief during which they beat their hearts and shed tears, while remembering the sacrifices of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and his human renaissance.”
