Jordan: Suspension of work in 68 Quranic centers provokes anger
The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in Jordan issued a decision suspending 68 Quranic centers from operation.
A campaign was launched in rejection of the decision of the Jordanian Minister of Endowments, Muhammad Al-Khalayleh, to stop 68 Quranic centers, close five centers, and suspend 164 children’s Quranic clubs.”
Social media activists interacted with the campaign, who expressed their categorical rejection of this measure, stressing that they are ready to participate in every way they can.
Activists expressed their shock at the decision of the Jordanian Ministry of Endowments to stop work in one of the memorization centers of the Society for the Preservation of the Holy Quran, as part of a campaign launched by the ministry, where 68 centers were suspended from work.
