Famous Indonesian poet visits Karbala and writes poem about it
The Indonesian Berita Bantul news agency, quoted one of the most famous poets in the country, who reported his personal impressions and feelings when visiting the holy city of Karbala and the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine.
The agency quoted the famous Indonesian poet and writer, Mustafa Bisri, known as “Gus Mas”, recounting some of the details of his trip to the city of the Master of Martyrs, peace be upon him, along with a group of his most prominent peers, stressing that he “did not leave a moment while visiting the shrine of the Grandson of the Messenger of God, without documenting it with a poem he called, Mother’s Voice in Karbala”.
Berita Bantul agency adds that “a group of Indonesian poets accompanied Mas on his journey, including Sutarji, Abdul Hadi W. M., in addition to Tawfiq Ismail, Leon Agusta, and Hamid Jabbar.”
