US court sentences man to 12 years in prison for shooting at a mosque
A US court in Indianapolis has sentenced a suspect in the 2020 mosque shootings in Indiana to 12 years in prison.
Court documents reveal that Jonathan Warren, 22, shot at the Al Noor Mosque while driving a speeding car, on May 24, 2020 during Eid al-Fitr celebrations.
The documents showed that Warren made several threats, fired into crowded areas, and attempted to kill more than one victim.
Warren pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm in order to promote violent crimes and to make threats.
