Umm al-Baneen Center in Majunga holds a women’s celebration to commemorate the birth anniversary of Imam Al-Askari (peace be upon him)
In celebration of the birth anniversary of Imam Hassan al-Askari (peace be upon him), the Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her) Center in the city of Majunga, Madagascar, held a celebration for women, attended by a group of girls and women.
The occasion, which falls on the 8th of Rabi’ al-Thani, spread joys and joy among the Shias and those loyal to the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) in the city, according to what was stated by the Director of the Office of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi.
His Eminence Sheikh Muhammad Radhi Wasram said in an interview with Shia Waves News Agency, “The Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her) Center of the Shirazi Religious Authority in Majunga held a women’s celebration to commemorate the birth anniversary of Imam Hassan al-Askari (peace be upon him).”
He added, “The blessed ceremony witnessed a remarkable presence of women and girls, who expressed their happiness on this great anniversary.”
Wasram explained that “the ceremony witnessed cultural and religious activities, including the recitation of Hadith Al-Kisa and poems, and concluded with the distribution of gifts to the students present.”
The Sheikh pointed out that “such joyful celebrations for the births of the pure Imams (peace be upon them) are keen to be held by the Shirazi Religious Authority institutions, in order to revive and glorify their honorable remembrance.”
