The Office of the Shirazi Religious Authority in Majunga celebrates the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad and Imam Al-Sadiq (peace be upon them)
The representative of the Supreme Religious Authority in Majunga, Madagascar, Sheikh Muhammad Radhi Wasram, said that many events and activities were held during the commemoration of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad and his grandson, Imam Jafar al-Sadiq, peace be upon them.
Wasram said in an interview with Shia Waves News Agency that “the Office of the Shirazi Religious Authority held during the past few days a number of events, activities and joyful celebrations on the blessed occasion,” adding that “the events held witnessed a remarkable presence of the Shia lovers of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them).”
He continued, “An atmosphere of joy and happiness filled the hearts of the attendees, as they celebrated this great occasion that spread beauty, peace and joy across the globe.”
He also explained that “the youth bodies affiliated with the Shirazi Religious Authority recorded a beautiful presence in presenting cultural events, while reciting poems in honor of the Prophet and the Imam Al-Sadiq (peace be upon them)”, adding that “one of the activities held was the distribution of many gifts to the participants in the celebrations.”
Wasram indicated that “the Office of the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi is keen to revive such blessed occasions, to increase the momentum of communication between Ahlulbayt lovers and loyalists with their Noble Prophet and their Imams (peace be upon them), and to remind them of their great stances.”
