Africa witnesses establishment of Husseini mourning ceremonies 

The State of Ghana, in the African continent, hosted the mourning ceremonies on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

The official website of the Shirazi religious authority stated in a statement that dozens of followers of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life,  in the State of Ghana, participated in the mourning ceremonies, recalling the painful tragedy of al-Taff.

The Cultural Service procession of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, which is affiliated the Shirazi Religious Authority in Ghana also participated in organizing Hussainiyah mourning marches and holding holy Husseini rituals in the city’s streets.

The offices, religious centers, mosques and Husseiniyahs of the Shirazi Religious Authority in various parts of the world witnessed the organization of various religious and mourning events to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
