Shias in Switzerland revived the days and nights of the sacred month of Muharram, by establishing the holy Husseini rituals at the Sayyeda al-Zahraa Center, peace be upon her, in the city of Zurich.

The center is run by a group of Ahlulbayt lovers from Afghanistan and the events are participated by a number of Shias in the area.

The ceremonies recall the tragedy that befell the grandson of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, on the day of Ashura.
