Large crowds of men, women and children are participating in the continuous activities since the first of the month of Muharram, to commemorate the painful tragedy of al-Taff and what happened to Imam Hussein, his companions and his family, peace be upon them.

 The Husseini events include religious lectures on the immortal cause of Imam Hussein, peace be upon, congregational prayers and distribution of food and sacrificial meat in honor of the Imam, peace be upon him.
