Members of the Muslim community organized an Ashura march in the British capital, London, to commemorate the tragedy of Karbala, while taking into account health and preventive measures in light of the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic.
Members of the Muslim community organized an Ashura march in the British capital, London, to commemorate the tragedy of Karbala, while taking into account health and preventive measures in light of the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic.
Muhammad al-Balaghi, one of the march’s organizers, said, “This blessed march has been held for 35 years in the British capital London,” pointing out that this year, due to Covid-19, the participants adhered to the preventive measures by wearing masks and maintaining social distancing.
Al-Balaghi emphasized, “The march is covered by many print, audio and visual media platforms.”
