“The ministry has prepared a plan for reopening the mosques, and it will be presented to the Coronavirus Crisis Management Committee early next week,” Gomaa said.
He directed the quick distribution of the carpets needed for furnishing, as the ministry will start distributing 320 thousand square meters of prayer rugs to the directorates nationwide.
He directed both the head of the religious sector and the head of the directorates sector to take the necessary precaution measures such as keeping a safe distance between worshippers from all directions and at all times.
