The source said in a statement, that the security forces carried out a large-scale security campaign on the desert of al-Rutba district, west of Ramadi, based on intelligence information, to search for those involved in the targeting and burning of a security checkpoint on the International Highway, 35 km from the district center.
The security forces have cordoned off the desert of al-Rutba and strengthened their presence in the rest of the security checkpoints to prevent any security breach.
