Local Afghan police confirmed that a police officer linked to Taliban terrorist movement carried out an attack, killing seven police officers in Kandahar province, southern Afghanistan.

Local Afghan police confirmed that a police officer linked to Taliban terrorist movement carried out an attack, killing seven police officers in Kandahar province, southern Afghanistan.

The region’s police spokesperson, Jamal Barikzai, said that the terrible accident occurred in the Charchakhi district of the Zary region at approximately 2:00 a.m. local time.

He added that the perpetrator, who appeared to be linked to the Taliban, managed to escape after committing the crime, however police and security are after him.
