Nusrat Rahimi, a spokesman for the Afghan Ministry of Interior, said that the explosion of a homemade explosive device planted on a roadside in Sheikhan village in Azra district, killed one child and wounded eight others.
No one, including the Taliban terrorists, has claimed responsibility for the blast so far.
Taliban fighters often use homemade explosive devices to target security forces and government employees, but most of these attacks cause civilian casualties.
