Iraqi Security Media Cell announces the arrest of six ISIS terrorists

The Iraqi Security Media Cell announced the arrest of 6 ISIS terrorist operatives, including fighters at the Diwan al-Jund in Nineveh Governorate.

The Iraqi Security Media Cell announced the arrest of 6 ISIS terrorist operatives, including fighters at the Diwan al-Jund in Nineveh Governorate.

The Cell said, in a statement, “A joint force of the Nineveh police and the 16th Division of the Iraqi army as well as the Intelligence and Counterterrorism Directorate, were able to implement a security operation on the right side of the city of Mosul.”

It added, “The operation resulted in the arrest of six ISIS operatives, including those who were operating in the so-called Diwan al-Jund during the period of ISIS’s control of the city of Mosul.”
