The Ukrainian official confirmed that the government decision on the possibility of taking document photos with the hijab will come into force on the mentioned date.
Based on this decision, Muslim women in Ukraine will be able to use their photographs with the hijab or other headscarves on their identification cards or passports formally without violating the teachings of Islam.
