In conjunction with the International Day for Tolerance, the Bahrain Center for Dialogue and Tolerance called for dialogue and serious national action to enable a peaceful political solution to the crisis in Bahrain since 2011, and to end all forms of repression as this systematically contradicts fundamental principles of tolerance and human rights.

In a statement, the Center urged the parties to return to national dialogue and to adopt the option of national reconciliation to solve the political crisis.

The Bahrain Center stressed that all forms of repression be terminated as this systematically contradicts the principles of tolerance and basic human rights and only leads to more tension, and to promote the values of equal citizenship as well as a culture of democracy and human rights.
