The authorities launched a campaign of illegal raids on the homes of citizens in a number of areas in Bahrain without knowing the reasons and without showing any legal permission.

Detainees on political grounds are usually transferred to the notorious Department of Criminal Investigation to extract their confessions, according to reports by human rights organizations, but the detention has been unknown since the King of Bahrain issued a decree formally granting the homeland security to arrest and investigate.
