With the aim of creating a language of dialogue between different religions, the Second Interfaith Forum launches in Cologne, Germany

The Second Festival of Religions was launched in the city of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia in western Germany, where followers of different religions and sects gathered.
The festival was held with the participation of a crowd of religious people, with the aim of communicating and creating a dialogue between followers of different religions.
The director of one of the centers in Germany, Farida Ginshaslan, said, “God Almighty said in the 13th verse of the blessed Surat Al-Hujurat, ‘O mankind, We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into races and tribes, so that you may identify one another.’ However, it’s unfortunate that we see many conflicts in our era that have shut the doors of dialogue.”
She stressed the need to establish relations between followers of different religions and said, “In order to bring peace to the world, we need to increase public understanding and awareness of different religions.”
