Baku Conference to discuss interfaith dialogue, ending Islamophobia

The Fifth World Forum on interfaith dialogue will be held in Baku, the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on May 2-3.

 

The Fifth World Forum on interfaith dialogue will be held in Baku, the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on May 2-3.

According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the participants will discuss various issues, including interfaith dialogue, ending Islamophobia, fighting discrimination and inequality, and promotion of the culture of peace.

ICRO Chief Abuzar Ebrahimi Torkaman is among the guests invited by Azerbaijan to attend the event.

‘Building dialogue into action against discrimination, inequality and violent conflict’ is the motto of this year’s forum.

The Forum will examine the critical role of Intercultural Dialogue as an actionable strategy for building human solidarity and helping localities counter the violence and discrimination in diverse communities.
