German court refuses to grant citizenship to Muslim doctor who refused to shake hands with women

German media reported that a German court had refused to grant citizenship to Muslim doctor who refused to shake hands with women.
According to media reports, the man, a Lebanese doctor, refused to shake hands with women for religious reasons.
Meanwhile, an administrative court in the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg said that the refusal to shake hands with women came as a result of “a fundamentalist view of values and culture that views women as dangerous seduction,” which represents a “refusal to integrate into German life.”
The Lebanese immigrant had studied medicine in Germany and was rejected citizenship.
