Holy Prophet’s birth anniversary celebrated in India

Mosques and Husseiniyas (Shia religious centers) hosted the ceremonies in cities like New Delhi, Lucknow, Aligarh, Muzaffarnagar, Kargil, and Mumbai.
They included recitations of eulogies in praise of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).
Also, speakers highlighted the character and virtues of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the role of Imam Sadiq (AS) in Islamic unity.
The 17th day of the month of Rabi al-Awwal in the lunar Hijri calendar (November 25 this year) is believed by Shia Muslims to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
