UNICEF condemns the arrest of 18 Palestinian children in East Jerusalem

The United Nations Organization, UNICEF, condemned the arrest of 18 Palestinian children, yesterday, in occupied East Jerusalem.
The European Organization said in a tweet via Twitter: “At least 100 Palestinian children have been arrested in East Jerusalem since the beginning of this year, that is, two months ago,” noting that 18 Palestinian children were arrested yesterday at Bab al-Amud in occupied East Jerusalem.
The children’s organization stressed that “the detention of children should be a last resort and for the shortest possible period.”
