Yesterday, six years ago, Bahraini citizens asked their monarchy to give them their basic human needs such as security, well- being and esteem.

On the contrary, the ruling government treated them with arrests, tortures, prisons and executions. The Bahraini authorities created the largest prison in the world containing underage children, preventing them from creating the better world for themselves and their country.

In the same context, Amnesty International warned in a statement that authorities in Bahrain must refrain from using excessive force against protesters. As mass protests were underway on February 14, the organization urged to mark the sixth anniversary of the 2011 uprising.
