Old English Church converts to Islamic Center
Following the efforts and endeavors of the Shiite minority residing in Peterborough England, and with an attempt to provide a center for Muslim worshipers to perform their prayers as well as holding rituals, the city’s old church was bought and later converted to Imam al-Ridha Islamic center.

The opening ceremony was held simultaneously with the auspicious birthday anniversary of Imam al-Ridha (PBUH) in which Hujjat al-Islam Kashmiri, Grand Ayatollah Sistani’s representative in Europe took part.
The speakers of the event were a group of Muslim scholars as well as some other religious activists in England, including Hujjat al-Islam Maqboul Hussein Alavi, Head of the ‘Islamic Thoughts Organization’, Hawzah News reported
