According to media reports, Zakir, the founder of Peace TV, has been the object of increased police scrutiny after the two of the six men who committed the attack on the Holey Artisan Cafe in Dhaka stated that they had been influenced by his speeches.

It is worth mentioning that Naik’s, Peace, TV was suspended in Bangladesh for promoting hate and takfiri speeches.
