In light of the recent massacre where ISIS terrorists killed over 200 civilians in Iraq, Shia Muslims established an event to take a solidarity stand at Marble Arch.

Organizers established hashtags on social media calling for people across Britain to join the event.

Those who took part lighted candles and recited prayers for the souls of those were martyred.

After people gathering, verses of the holy Quran were recited followed by speeches condemning the horrible attack and reminding people of the consequences of radicalism.

Together we must condemn this death cult that has also targeted and killed innocent worshippers in the Holy city of Medina and Shia populated district of Qatif just 24 hours after the massacre in Iraq, said the organizers in a statement on the event advertisement published on social media.
