In a ceremony held in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta, a number of memorizers of the Quran were rewarded.
The ceremony was held by the Indonesia branch of the Dar-ol-Quran Center of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, Qaaf news agency reported.
Those praised at the event were boys and girls who have finished memorizing the 29th and 30th parts of the Quran by heart.
The program kicked off with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran followed by a recitation of poems in praise of Lady Fatima, peace be upon her.
Later at the ceremony, certificates of honor and Mushaf Tajweed, which are copies of the Quran that include the rules of Tajweed published by the al-Abbas Holy Shrine in Karbala, were presented to the Quran memorizers.
The Dar-ol-Quran Center of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has been organizing Quranic courses in its branches in Indonesia for some time.
